On the official YouTube Blog, Google wrote a post about the new updated YouTube.
What’s new?
The first time you visit the new youtube.com site, you will see the new logo. It has a brighter red color and a thicker font.
The new material layout is also new. Some months ago till now you could change the layout of the YouTube site on youtube.com/new.
But now everyone has that new layout.
That’s a great feature because the old YouTube site was very bright, and if you wanted to watch videos at night, it has always dazzled you. Now you can change to a darker YouTube layout, the night mode.
