Yes, it’s finally time. Nintendo is pulling the plug on the eShop.
Starting in March 2023, you will not be allowed to buy any more games from the Nintendo 3DS eShop. You will also not be permitted to make purchases from the Wii U eShop.
Can I still add credit to the eShop?
Yes, but only until 08/29/2022. If you still want to buy some games with store credit, add some funds soon. Do this before it’s too late.
You only have until 03/27/2023 to buy stuff in the eShop.
Or just buy physical games. It’s better for Nintendo 3DS anyway…
Can I still download purchased games?
Yes, even after 03/27/2023, you will still be capable of download your purchased games. You will also be capable of playing online and download system updates in the foreseeable future.
