Chapter 3 of Max Payne 3 follows Max Payne and Passos as they fight through a medical facility, offices, and a soccer stadium. The pair faces numerous armed gang members, eventually battling an enemy sniper at the top of the stadium structure.
The mission contains ten optional collectibles, including four environmental clues and six Golden Gun parts split between the M10 and M82A1. Players can also earn a specific achievement by covering Passos with sniper fire without missing a single shot.
“Just Another Day at the Office” is the third chapter of Max Payne 3. Max and Passos return to action after the events of the nightclub, and the chapter eventually takes them to a soccer stadium where things quickly turn into another major firefight.
There are 10 collectibles in this chapter: 6 Golden Gun parts and 4 Clues. The chapter also contains the achievement/trophy The One Eyed Man Is King, which requires you to protect Passos during the sniper sequence without missing a shot.

Reach the Medical Room
Max begins the chapter badly wounded. Follow Passos through the building until you reach the medical area.
After Max is treated, a group of enemies enters the room. Take them out from cover and search the surrounding rooms before following Passos.
Clue 1 – Picture of Victor
After the first shootout, turn around and enter the small office near the medical room.
Look at the picture hanging on the wall and examine it to collect the first clue.

Once you have it, return to Passos and continue toward the elevator.
Clue 2 – Blood Stained Door
Before using the elevator, look to the left for a short ramp leading toward a set of white double doors.
There is blood smeared across the doors. Examine them to collect the second clue.

Now activate the elevator and ride it to the next area.
Investigate the Recording Room
Follow Passos to a room where he interrogates a wounded gang member.
The conversation doesn’t last long before several armed men storm into the room. Take cover and eliminate them.
Once the enemies are down, don’t immediately follow Passos.
Golden M10 Part 1
Look for the small TV recording room nearby. Enter the room and search around the camera equipment.
The first Golden M10 part is on the floor inside.

Continue down the corridor after collecting the part. A shotgun-wielding enemy will burst out of a doorway, so be ready to move or use Bullet Time to take him down.
Fight Through the Offices
Continue into the next section and clear out the enemies.
After the firefight, Passos moves ahead. Before following him, turn around and search the previous area.
Golden M82A1 Part 1
Look for the large soccer team mural.
The first Golden M82A1 part is sitting on the shelf underneath the mural.

This is an easy one to miss because the game encourages you to keep moving with Passos, so make sure to grab it before continuing.
Run Past the Sniper
Follow Passos through the next section. You’ll soon come under fire from a sniper.
Don’t stay exposed. Sprint and roll through the sniper’s line of fire and get into the next hallway.
You will have another group of enemies waiting for you. Use the available cover and clear the hallway before moving forward.
Clue 3 – Blood Stained Hallway
In this hallway, look for the bloody handprint on the pillar on the right side.
Examine it to collect the third clue.

There are also Painkillers available nearby, so grab them before moving toward the next section.
Reach the Stadium Stands
Continue through the rooms and deal with the enemies along the way.
Eventually, Passos takes up a sniper position and begins providing cover while Max moves through the stadium.
After the cutscene, you’ll find yourself outside in the stadium stands.
Golden M10 Part 2
As soon as you regain control, turn around.
Go down the stairs toward the bottom of the stands and look in the lowest corner. The second Golden M10 part is there.

Pick it up before continuing toward the enemies ahead.
Clear the Stadium Stands
Use the barriers and seats as cover while dealing with the enemies.
More attackers will arrive as you make your way farther across the stands, including enemies attempting to flank you. Keep an eye on both sides instead of focusing only on what’s directly ahead.
Once the area is clear, continue up the stairs and through the large doors.
VIP Lounge
The next section is a much more luxurious part of the stadium. There are several enemies here, so take your time clearing the room.
After the firefight, move toward the VIP seating area overlooking the field.
Golden M10 Part 3
Look to the left for the row of seats positioned in front of the large viewing window.
The final Golden M10 part is sitting in the front row.

You now have all three pieces needed to complete the Golden M10.
Clue 4 – Soccer Star Memorial
Continue farther down the VIP area.
At the end of the hallway you’ll find a large memorial dedicated to a soccer star. Examine the memorial to collect the final clue.

Once you’ve collected it, continue toward the maintenance elevator.
The Stadium Stands – Sniper Attack
Take the elevator down to the stands.
You’ll immediately come under attack from several enemies. Watch for grenade warnings and use Bullet Time to shoot grenades out of the air when necessary.
Clear the enemies around the elevator before moving farther into the stands.
Golden M82A1 Part 2
After exiting the elevator, head down the stairs directly ahead.
Turn left at the bottom and look around the corner near the gated area.
The second Golden M82A1 part is waiting there.

Grab it quickly and continue before the sniper can get a clear shot at Max.
Cover Passos
Eventually, Max reaches a position where he can grab a sniper rifle.
This is the most important sequence in the chapter if you’re going for The One Eyed Man Is King.
Passos moves across the stadium while Max provides sniper cover. Enemies will appear one after another, and Passos will call out targets for you.

The One Eyed Man Is King
To unlock the achievement/trophy, don’t miss any shots during the entire sniper-cover sequence.
You don’t need headshots. The important part is making every shot count and stopping enemies before they can reach Passos. Take your time when possible, and use Bullet Time when it gives you a better chance of making a difficult shot.
After Passos reaches safety, a cutscene plays and Max is back in the stadium.
Golden M82A1 Part 3
You are now back outside in the stands.
Take out the enemies around you and start making your way upward.
Before entering the next gated area, look toward the top row and head all the way to the right.
The final Golden M82A1 part is located at the far end of the walkway.

That’s the final Golden Gun part in the chapter, completing the Golden M82A1.
Reach the Sniper’s Position
Continue through the gate and deal with the next group of enemies.
Work your way up the ladders while taking out the attackers on each level. Keep using the surrounding structures for cover, especially when enemies appear from higher positions.
Eventually, Max reaches the top of the structure where the enemy sniper is positioned.
A final Bullet Time sequence gives you the opportunity to take him out.
Shoot the sniper before he can get another clear shot at Max.

With the sniper eliminated, the chapter comes to an end.
