From Earth with Love is the fifteenth and final chapter of Serious Sam 4, bringing Sam’s fight against Mental to its final confrontation. Sam battles through the last areas and faces the final threats standing between him and victory.
Throughout the chapter, players can discover the remaining secrets and collectibles while fighting through intense enemy encounters. The chapter culminates in the final battle, bringing Serious Sam 4’s main campaign to an end.
From Earth With Love is the fifteenth and final chapter of Serious Sam 4. The battle has reached Tunguska, Russia, and Sam is heading toward the massive enemy portal for one final confrontation.
This is the final chapter of the campaign, and it’s a big one. Along the way, there are 8 secrets and one optional side mission called “Canyon Fodder.” There is also one audio log to find.
There are no S.A.M. eggs or skill-point pickups in this chapter.

Reach the EDF Front Line
After the opening cutscene, you’ll start in a snowy area with several small buildings.
Before following the main objective, take a moment to look around the starting area. There are several weapons and supplies here, including a Minigun, Sniper Rifle, Assault Rifle and Grenade Launcher.
You’ll want to pick up as much ammunition as possible because the battles ahead are much larger than what you’ve encountered earlier in the game.

Audio Log – Lost Places, Lost Times
Before leaving the starting area, turn to the right.
You’ll see a building with a broken-down snowmobile pointing toward it.
Head up the stairs and follow the walkway around the building.
At the end, you’ll find the audio log “Lost Places, Lost Times” sitting on a crate.

Pick it up before continuing. This is the only collectible dossier/audio log in the chapter.
Secret #1 – L.I.F.E. Gadget
Return toward the starting area and look behind the first chalet.
You’ll see several gas canisters positioned against the building.
Use them to jump onto the roof.

Once you’re on the roof, you’ll find a L.I.F.E. gadget.
Pick it up to complete Secret #1.
“Canyon Fodder” Side Mission
Before following the main objective, look toward the right side of the starting area.
There’s a small opening between the cliffs with a blue side-mission marker.
Go through the opening to reach an EDF forwarding operating base.

Once you arrive, Quinn contacts Sam and asks him to investigate because she has lost contact with the soldiers stationed there.
This starts “Canyon Fodder.”
Fight your way through the enemies inside the base and make sure to check the surrounding buildings for supplies.
After clearing the area, the side mission is complete.
Reward: 3 Rage Serums.
Secret #2 – L.I.F.E. Gadget
While completing Canyon Fodder, look around the EDF base.
You’ll find a group of sandbags near one of the prefabricated buildings.
Jump onto the sandbags and then onto the roof of the building.

A L.I.F.E. gadget is waiting on top.
Collect it for Secret #2.
Once you’ve finished the side mission, return to the main route.
Head Into the Canyon
Continue following the main objective through the snowy canyon.
You’ll soon start encountering much larger groups of enemies.
The canyon gives you plenty of room to move, so don’t stay in one position for too long. Keep circling around the enemies and use the open space to your advantage.

As you move deeper into the canyon, you’ll eventually reach a much larger open area.
This is where several of the chapter’s secrets can be found.
Secret #3 – H.E.A.R.T. Gadget
When you first enter the large open valley, don’t immediately follow the objective.
Instead, head toward the trees and large rock formations on the left.
Go around the large cluster of rocks until you find a smaller rock that you can use to climb higher.

Make your way toward the edge of the rock formation.
You’ll find a H.E.A.R.T. gadget hidden there.
This is Secret #3.
Secret #4 – L.I.F.E. Gadget
From the previous secret, look for a small slope nearby.
Climb up the slope and follow the higher ground.

At the top you’ll find another L.I.F.E. gadget.
Collect it to complete Secret #4.
Continue Through the Valley
Return to the main route and continue through the valley.
You’ll encounter several large enemy groups, including Aludran Reptiloids, Bio-Mechanoids and Scrapjacks.
This is a good opportunity to use some of the heavy weapons you’ve collected.

Once the area is clear, continue up the road toward the next objective.
Secret #5 – Rage Serum
Before going up the main slope where you eventually obtain the Devastator and Auto Shotgun, look toward the left side of the area.
You’ll notice a Rage Serum sitting high on a hill.
Don’t try to reach it directly.
Instead, head toward the hill and keep close to the rock wall.

Follow the narrow rocky path around the cliff.
Carefully walk along the ledge until you reach the hidden Rage Serum.
Collect it to complete Secret #5.
Get the Devastator
Continue up the road.
You’ll eventually reach an area containing the Devastator and Auto Shotgun.
Grab both weapons and stock up on ammunition.

The Devastator is particularly useful for dealing with the larger enemy groups you’ll encounter later.
Secret #6 – Holodecoy
After picking up the XL2 Lasergun, don’t immediately continue along the main route.
Look around the area to the right of the wooden house.
There’s another chalet nearby.

Head toward the rocks beside the chalet and you’ll find a Holodecoy hidden among them.
Collect it to complete Secret #6.
Secret #7 – Rage Serum
Continue forward from the previous secret.
A little further along, look behind the next rocky cluster.

You’ll find another hidden Rage Serum sitting behind the rocks.
Collect it for Secret #7.
Prepare for the Final Battle
Continue toward the main objective.
The number of enemies increases dramatically as you get closer to the battlefield.
You’ll eventually reach the enormous area in front of the enemy portal.

Before entering the final battle, make sure you’ve collected as much health, armor and ammunition as possible.
There are several resupply points around the battlefield, so don’t worry about using your heavy weapons.
Secret #8 – H.E.A.R.T. Gadget
Shortly before the final battle, you’ll enter an area with a lot of trees and rocks.
Stay close to the left-hand rock wall.
Follow it around the area instead of heading directly toward the objective.

Eventually you’ll find a small section with fallen branches and rocks.
Jump over the rocks to reach the final H.E.A.R.T. gadget.
This completes Secret #8 and all of the secrets in the chapter.
The Final Battle
Now head toward the massive portal.
After a short sequence, Ugh-Zan VI appears.
The gigantic creature towers over the battlefield and initially appears almost impossible to defeat.
Don’t worry about damaging him yet.

Hellfire will soon drop equipment onto the battlefield, including C-4 explosives, a grappling hook and a parachute.
Your objective is to destroy the nine lightning rods attached to Ugh-Zan’s body.
These rods allow him to regenerate from damage, so destroying them is the key to winning the fight.
Destroy the Nine Lightning Rods
Pick up the C-4 and grappling hook.
Use the grappling hook to pull yourself onto Ugh-Zan’s body.
Once you’re attached, move around his body and look for the glowing pink lightning rods.

Plant a C-4 charge on each rod.
There are nine rods in total, spread across different parts of his body.
Some are easier to reach than others, so use the grappling hook to move between his legs, arms, back and head.
You don’t need to destroy them one at a time.
A useful strategy is to place all nine C-4 charges first and then detonate them together.

Once all nine rods have been destroyed, Ugh-Zan can no longer regenerate his health.
Fight Ugh-Zan VI
After the rods are destroyed, Hellfire drops a mech onto the battlefield.
Get inside it.
Now you can finally fight Ugh-Zan directly.

The mech’s rockets are particularly effective, so use them whenever possible.
Keep moving around the battlefield and avoid his fireballs and laser attacks.
You don’t need to worry about killing every smaller enemy around you. Concentrate on Ugh-Zan and only deal with the smaller enemies when they become a serious problem.

Eventually, you’ll deal enough damage to bring the giant down.
But the fight isn’t over yet.
The Final Trick
Ugh-Zan is temporarily stunned, but Professor Kiesel warns that the creature will eventually get back up.
Sam realizes that the False Grail can be used against him.
Pick up the Grail and destroy the golden snake wrapped around it.
This causes the artifact to become unstable.

Sam then calls Hellfire for help.
She arrives in her helicopter and gives Sam a chance to get close to Ugh-Zan.
When you’re close enough, throw the unstable Grail into Ugh-Zan’s mouth.

The Grail explodes inside the giant’s head, finally killing Ugh-Zan VI.
Destroy the Portal
With Ugh-Zan defeated, the EDF captures General Brand.
The team prepares an ICBM missile to send directly through the enemy portal.
Sam adds the message:
“From Earth with Love.”

Brand is attached to the missile, and the EDF launches it through the portal.
The missile destroys the portal, cutting off Mental’s forces and bringing the Tunguska offensive to an end.
The End
After the destruction of the portal, Sam and the surviving members of the team finally get a chance to relax.
The campaign ends with the group gathered around a campfire, remembering the people they’ve lost and celebrating their victory.
And that’s it — Serious Sam 4’s main campaign is complete.
